seek prayer always
Everyone has a story to tell. When we make the connection between our story and God's great story, we come away with HIStory, which involves each and every one of us.
“ For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him (Jesus).”
- Colossians 1:19
Through the fullness of Jesus Christ’s “grace we have all received one blessing after another.” He not sparing anything. Yet through the fullness of that inn on Christmas eve, Jesus received His first rejection of many, being born outside the inn (John 1:16).
He received an emptiness of grace, He, who was fully clothed with the fullness of His Father’s grace for the purpose of endowing His children with His many blessings. There was no room for the One who makes room for you and me.
This truth should drive us to our knees, hopeful that He answers and secure that He loves. Let our knees hit the ground as we enter a sacred time of prayer with the One who spared nothing for us. May our prayer time stem not from guilt or obligation but out of love with hearts and mouths overflowing with prayers to our Heavenly Father.
I pray that today you would be encouraged to pray where you are. Don’t wait another day to start your prayer life!
I pray that today you would be encouraged by God’s pleasure in endowing you with His grace. He not only sent His Son into the world, but He was pleased to send Him dressed fully in His grace.
